If you love fine dining as much as we do, then you've come to

Spanish cuisine is distinguished by the traditional use of olive
oil as the vegetable- and lard as the animal fat in the preparation
of dishes, as well as the inclusion of a wide variety of fruit
and vegetables introduced by Moorish culture, plus other ingredients,
such as the potato and tomato imported from the New World.
Then again, the considerable development in Spanish
cooking in recent years has also been due to the emergence of
a clutch of first-class chefs who have successfully managed to
reinterpret traditional dishes and recipes in tune with present
times, endowing Spanish cuisine with a new dimension in presentation
and flavor.
Royal Retreat has some of the choicest menu options besides regular
servings of menu. The specialties include octopus with potatoes
and onion, or stewed in olive oil and paprika. Then, there is
an array of sophisticated dishes that include fruit, nuts, and
even chocolate, salads prepared with salted cod, fresh tomatoes,
onion and olives dressed with vinaigrette.
Other specialties are: Habas fritas (fried braod
beans), Judias verdes con jamon (green beans with ham), Samfaina
(Catalan braised vegetable sauce), Zarzuela de maricos (shellfish
in seafood sauce), Pato con higos (duck with figs) and Polvorones
(almond shortbread) , Petite Romaine Salad, Braised Pork Pasta,
Lobster Shepherd's Pie, Chicken "Pot Pie", Crispy Rock
Shrimp Salad, Seared Ahi Tuna, Steak Frites, grilled angus filet
with a root vegetable capriccio, steaks,, Pan Seared Scallops
